Terms of service

Use accurate account details and keep your password and sign-in access secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed it without permission.

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If the law where you live requires a parent or guardian's permission to use the game, obtain that permission before creating an account.

Choose a display name that is suitable for other players to see. Your display name and game records may appear to opponents and on the Roll of Honour.

Play fairly and treat other players with respect. Do not cheat, exploit bugs, impersonate others, use abusive or discriminatory names, interfere with matches, or attempt to access accounts or systems without permission.

Do not use bots or automation to gain an unfair advantage or overload the service. Report security problems privately to our contact address.

Three run tokens are included each day and refill at midnight in your game region. Starting a new run uses one token. Continuing an open run uses no additional tokens. Some opponents are AI players, and those matches count toward your record.

Finished runs earn in-game gold, which you can spend in the shop on cosmetic golden cards. Gold earned as a guest can only be spent after you create an account. Gold cannot be bought, sold, traded or exchanged for money.

We may update cards, balance, rules and game modes. Maintenance, connection failures or changes to the service can interrupt matches or affect saved progress. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that a particular game feature or record will remain available forever.

Game progress, gold, cards, golden cards, portraits and leaderboard positions have no cash value and do not give you ownership of any part of the service.

Registered accounts can buy extra run tokens through Stripe Checkout at the quantity and price shown before payment. Purchases are one-time payments in US dollars. Purchased tokens remain on your account until used. Daily tokens are used first.

Tokens are added after Stripe confirms payment. Some payment methods take longer to confirm. Run tokens cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.

If a payment succeeds but tokens do not arrive, or you need help with a purchase or refund, contact DevCake AB at hello@devcake.se. These terms do not limit your mandatory consumer rights.

You may use Mythos for your personal enjoyment. Rights in the game software, artwork, branding and other content remain with their respective owners. Do not sell, redistribute or use that content commercially without the necessary permission.

These terms do not restrict uses that applicable law or a separate licence permits.

Our Privacy policy explains how we handle account details, game records, cookies and analytics. Optional analytics is a separate choice and is not required to create an account or play.

We may restrict or suspend accounts that breach these terms or threaten the security or fair operation of the game. Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to contact us.

You can stop using Mythos at any time. To request account deletion or question an account restriction, contact DevCake AB at hello@devcake.se.

We take reasonable care in operating Mythos, but an online game may contain errors or experience outages. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses caused by an interruption or loss of game progress.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights, including any rights to bring a claim before the courts available to you under applicable law.

We may revise these terms as the game changes. We will update the date on this page and communicate material changes through the service. Where required, we will ask you to accept updated terms before continuing.
